Roman Tlusty 1993.png

Communism collapses and freedom arrives! People are legally allowed to start their own business and Roman Tlusty, 23 at the time, is one of the first people in the county to apply for a small business license. He came to the capital city of Prague from the mountains to start work as a costume assistant in the National Theatre. On the banks of the Vltava, in the former president Vaclav Havel's house, he started to transform a cellar into his shoe repair workshop.
